Quayola is able to mix old masterpieces with new technologies. The video shows a different way to discover Roden’s sculpture, a self-creation from indefinite shape to human body. The instruments used is C4D and Hudini, tipicial tools for movies production but not for art purpose. I appreciate this kind of contaminations between tools used in different fields and I hope in a greater and better use of digital technologies for learning and discovering art.

The end of printed encyclopedia
Enciclopedia Britannica has chosen to stop the printed version, and it will be only in the digital form. Also in Italy “Corriere della Sera”, one of the most important newspaper, maybe will be published only in digital from 2014. That demonstrate how we are changing the way we learn, printed-knowledge is ended, wikipedia is the new master of knowledge. Expensive and heavy books will expire but free and social content will grow up. Is now necessary a way for a correct filtration of the big amount of data.
Mav Museum (Virtual Archeological Museum) is a special Museum in Ercolano where is possible to see a lot of tecnologies applied to cultural heritage. For a better learning there are digital reconstructions, projections, holograms, touch-screens and giant screens. From november 2011 is possibile to watch digital recostructions in a new Virtual Theatre, an immersive ambient where cultural heritage meets special effects and cinematographic languages.
